Special Journeys is now featured in Omaha Magazine's March/April 2024 issue.
Special Journeys was founded in 2004 with a singular purpose in mind: to open up the world of travel to individuals with special needs who otherwise might not get to see and enjoy this wonderful planet of ours.
Operating under the belief that the world is a super amazing, awesome, spectacular place, founders Lexi & Tom Mann have made it their mission to make sure everyone – regardless of disability – has an opportunity to experience it.
Our Story
A Hands-On Approach
Lexi and Tom believe in a hands-on approach to this mission, which is why one – or both – of them personally chaperone every single vacation Special Journeys takes. For the past 20 years, they’ve led nearly 400 trips all over America…and and the world!
Together with our team of volunteer Travel Companions, our groups are ready to take you on your next adventure!
