Your journey begins as we sail away from the vibrant port of Miami, with the sun setting and the excitement building. As we set sail, enjoy the luxury of the Grandeur of the Seas, a ship packed with incredible amenities to explore.
During our first Day at Sea, you’ll have the chance to make the most of the ship’s exciting features. Relax by the pool and enjoy some time in the sun, or step inside the ship’s Solariaum Pool which is a glass enclosed, temperature-controlled pool with lush tropical décor.

The first stop of this tropical cruise brings us to Nassau. Nassau is the bustling capital of the Bahamas and one of the most visited ports in the Caribbean. It’s colorful, lively, and packed with history, culture, shopping, and beach options. The port is centrally located, so you can walk right into the heart of downtown or hop on a short excursion.
Here we can explore downtown, which offers plenty of shopping opportunities! Local shops, Bahamian rum cake stores, and the infamous open air Straw Market will give you lots explore among the colonial buildings of the town. Once you’ve gotten all your shopping in, climb the 66 limestone steps to the top of Queen’s Staircase & Fort Fincastle which is the highest point of the island and offers great views of the ocean.
Our next stop brings us to Bimini which is quieter and more off-the-beaten-path than Nassau—less commercialized, more natural. It’s the closest Bahamian island to the U.S., and it’s famous for its clear waters, marine life, and relaxed island vibes.
In Bimini we’ll enjoy a stroll around Alice Town which is the island’s main village is small but has charm, local food, and a few quirky restaurants and shops. While you’re there, you can explore local craft markets and interact with local artisans who showcase beautiful handmade jewelry, carvings, and textiles. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the water for a peek at Sapona Shipwreck. This is a partially sunken concrete ship perfect for snorkeling and exploring. You may even see rays, turtles and many tropical fish swimming around as well.
After a day of fun and adventure, we set sail again for another Day at Sea. This day is a perfect opportunity to revisit your favorite onboard activities or try something new!
For those looking for a creative outlet, scrapbooking is a wonderful way to capture your cruise memories.
