Saddle up for an unforgettable group getaway where the spirit of the Wild West meets nonstop fun, food, and fantastic experiences!

Our adventure kicks off with a wild start at the Arbuckle Wilderness in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Arbuckle Wilderness is one of the most exciting and memorable stops on the Texas Cowboy Adventure—and for good reason! Located in Ardmore, Oklahoma, this drive-through animal safari lets the group experience wildlife up close. Unlike a traditional zoo, Arbuckle Wilderness allows animals to roam freely while we travel through the park in our vehicle. This makes it an ideal experience for groups—no long walks, no crowds, just rolling scenery and animals appearing right outside the windows. Along the route, we may see Massive American bison, Striking zebras, Friendly longhorn cattle, Curious deer, Playful ostriches and other exotic animals.

After working up an appetite, we’ll enjoy a hearty, down-home lunch at Smokey Joe’s BBQ, where smoky flavors and classic comfort food give us a true taste of cowboy country.

Next, it’s on to Fort Worth for a deep dive into Texas heritage with a guided tour of the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. Here, we’ll learn about legendary cowboys and cowgirls, rodeo history, and the stories that shaped the American West. We’ll also enjoy lunch in Fort Worth, soaking in the city’s western charm before heading to our next stop. The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is a must-see stop in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards that brings the spirit of the American West to life. This museum celebrates the individuals—both famous and unsung—who have shaped Texas’ cowboy and rodeo heritage.

The Hall recognizes more than 150 Texas men and women who excelled in rodeo, ranching, business, and the broader western lifestyle. You’ll see personal memorabilia, boots, trophies, photos, and stories honoring their achievements.

In addition to the Hall of Fame displays, exhibits often include items like the John Justin Trail of Fame, and other pieces that tell the story of life on the range.

Browse nostalgic cowboy-themed gear, western books, apparel, and gifts to remember your visit.

This isn’t just a display of artifacts — it’s a tribute to the cowboy way of life: hard work, resilience, competition, and community. The Hall of Fame helps visitors understand how cowboys and cowgirls lived, worked, competed, and influenced American culture.

In Dallas, it’s time to kick up our boots! At the legendary Cowboy Red River Dance Hall, we’ll take part in fun, beginner-friendly dance lessons. Whether two-stepping, line dancing, or just clapping along, everyone can join in and enjoy the lively country atmosphere. Yeehaw!!

It’s ‘All aboard’ for our next adventure to Grapevine, Texas, where we’ll step back in time aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad. This charming train ride offers scenic views and old-fashioned railroading fun. Imagine stepping back in time to the golden age of rail travel… that’s exactly what you get with the Grapevine Vintage Railroad! This beloved attraction in Grapevine, Texas, offers a classic train experience aboard beautifully restored 1920s-era coaches pulled by vintage locomotives, giving travelers of all ages a charming way to explore North Texas history.

The railroad runs on part of the historic Cotton Belt Route, a line first used in the late 1800s to transport cotton, produce, and livestock across Texas. Today’s excursions let you experience the feel of early 20th-century train travel, complete with wooden seats, brass details, and the gentle rhythm of the rails.

A ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad is ideal after lunch and shopping in Historic Downtown Grapevine. It’s a relaxing, scenic escape that still feels lively and engaging — a great way to enjoy the day before continuing your Texas adventure!

We’ll wrap up our Texas Cowboy Adventure with a grand finale at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. This high-energy dinner show features jousting knights, thrilling sword fights, majestic horses, and a feast fit for royalty—an exciting and immersive experience that everyone will be talking about long after the trip ends.

When you arrive at the Medieval Times Castle, we’ll be welcomed like royalty — complete with crowns that match one of the knights you’ll be cheering on. Once dinner begins, the action heats up! We’ll watch gallant knights competing in a thrilling joust to win glory for their colors. There will be dramatic sword fights and staged combat displays of horsemanship with magnificent Andalusian horses and even falconry demonstrations!

You’ll cheer for your knight, wave your cheering banners, and feel fully part of the story as the battle unfolds.

From wildlife encounters and cowboy culture to dancing, dining, and dramatic entertainment, the Texas Cowboy Adventure is a rootin’-tootin’ trip full of Texas-sized fun!
