You're invited to join us as we travel to the Ozarks as we watch some spectacular shows!
We'll begin our trip traveling to wonderful Branson, Missouri. Branson is known as the Live Show Capital of the World, and Special Journeys has been making it for many years because our travelers have so much fun! Branson is known for its warm hospitality, safe environment and family values. There are over 100 shows in 53 different theaters, so we have plenty to choose from, but we think we chose those that will surely dazzle!
Our first show will be at Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater where we will dine on delicious food while watching Legends in Concert. Sit back and enjoy this wonderful show that highlights the music and singing of, yes you guessed it, musical Legends. While some acts are subject to change, hey - that's show business, we may get to catch the ultimate King perform in his Blue Suede Shoes. Elvis will dazzle us with a little bit of his rock n' roll and snazzy dance moves. We may also get a chance to see Pat Benatar sing to us about that battlefield called love, with many famous hits from the 80s, she'll surely get you dancing!
The next show brings us to the Little Opry Theater to watch A Tribute to John Denver. It's a can't miss experience for every music fan who enjoys the iconic rocker. John Denver's music appeals to so many people because his span of genres and eras and so many popular hits. We'll hear classics including 'Take Me Home, Country Roads', 'Sunshine on My Shoulders', 'Rocky Mountain High', and so many more. The talented James Garrett will be performing the tribute. He'll be a joy to watch as he shares the stories behind the songs and has even won a Grammy with his group, The Kendalls. This is one special show we couldn't miss!
For our next show, we hope you brought neon, hairspray, and are ready to listen to some synthesizers, because we're headed back to the Awesome 80s!! We'll hear the popular songs of the times that got you on your feet and swaying to the radical songs at the American Theater. You'll be singing along to songs from A-Ha, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Madonna and Michael Jackson.
Our final show will give you a break from the music, but most certainly not from entertainment. Get ready to watch in awe as we see some Amazing Pets at the Grand Country Theater. You'll love seeing acts and tricks from a group of talented dogs and trained housecats. These lovable animals, many from rescues all over the country will win your hearts! They also love a good laugh from the audience. You'll also see some talented birds flying on stage as well. It's a wonderful show to end our time in Branson.
After the shows, we'll be sure to stop at a traveler favorite, Ozarkland, to shop for all things Branson and Ozarks to find a souvenir to bring home! And of course, a stop in Missouri wouldn't be complete without some delicious food as well.
