"Start spreading the news…. I am leaving today. I want to be a part of it. New York, New York." Frank Sinatra
Pack your bags and head with Special Journeys to New York City this March! Your trip will include a stop in Brooklyn's Chinatown. Touted as one of the best Chinatowns in the United States as well as one of the oldest, we will enjoy lunch and some time to shop in some of the areas eclectic stores. From here we will travel into Manhattan where we will visit the National 9/11 Museum. The Museum stands on the actual spot the Twin Towers once stood. It will be a somber but beautiful way to honor one of the saddest days in modern American history.
Our next stop will take us to new heights, 1,250 feet to be exact! We will travel to the top of the Empire State Building to the 102-story observation deck. Here we will be able to see some of the prettiest 360 degree views in all of New York City. The next day we will have lunch at the famous Hobby's Deli, an authentic New York Deli that serves up delicious food and warm memories. We will also see a Broadway Musical (on Broadway) and have dinner in New York City before we head to Times Square to do some shopping. Finally, we will spend some time in Central Park. Set in the middle of Manhattan, Central Park is arguably one of the most famous parks in the world as many movies have been filmed there such as Ghostbusters, Home Alone 2, and Elf! There we will enjoy some of the local cuisine and culture of New York City. With so many exciting activities the City has to offer, you'll learn why everyone says 'I Love NY'!
