Step into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter with Special Journeys!
We will begin our trip by traveling to sunny California to visit Universal Studios. Wingardium Leviosa and make sure to pack your black robes, Quidditch uniforms, broom sticks, and wands as we'll be stepping inside Harry Potter's world of magic. From spells and creatures, to villains and heroes, we'll soar above the park in thrilling rides, and explore the many wonderful adventures Universal Studios offers at this spectacular attraction.
For anyone seeking a thrill, join us as we soar above the castle with Harry Potter on the Forbidden Journey, a ride where you come face-to-face with many of the magical creatures of the books and was voted Best Thrill Ride in 2017. If you like rides, but want to try something that's not too topsy-turvy, step aboard the Flight of the Hippogriff, a family-friendly roller coaster that weaves around the pumpkin patch and whips past Hagrid's hut.
If you're unable to pack your Golden Snitches and brooms, not to worry, there are plenty of Harry Potter themed shops for you. At the Shops of Hogsmeade we can find all your Quidditch needs at Dervish and Banges, where you can pick up Quaffles, t-shirts, clothing and Hogwarts Uniforms. Stop at Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods to find Hogwarts stationery to write a letter back home about your amazing trip. If you'd like a treat to bring back home, Honeydukes has Cauldron Cakes, Whizzbees and more to fill up on. Then we can stop by Owl Post to get quills, seals and ink to write in your stationery and mail letters complete with a special Hogsmeade postmark.
We will see the movie sets such as the Great Hall, authentic props used in the films like the memory vials in Professor Dumbledore's office, learn how the creatures were brought to life on the screen, and discover the original costumes (yes, it even includes the Quidditch uniforms!). It will truly feel like we are right there along with Harry Potter!
If you think you can't see anymore, think again! We'll then travel to the Warner Brothers Studio for a tour. Here we will see 'The Wizarding World' exhibit with an up-close look authentic props and costumes from 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.' See the actual costumes worn by Tina, Newt Scamander, and Percival Graves in the movie and take a look inside Newt's case of creatures.
If all the rides, shopping and tours have you hankering for some food, we'll stop into Three Broomsticks, a rustic tavern with British fare such as fish n' chips, turkey legs, and Shepherd's pie. Around the city there are plenty of other Harry Potter-themed restaurants and cafes to enjoy a great feast.
