OPA!!! Cruise the Greek Islands

Join us for a cruise of the beautiful Greek Islands and Croatia! This exciting trip will begin with a flight to Venice, Italy where we will meet our ship, the Rhapsody of the Seas at 5 pm. As the ship departs the pier, we will begin our voyage with our first day of cruising. Here we can enjoy many of the wonderful activities the ship has to offer such as Bingo, dance lessons and dancing to live bands, karaoke, gambling and shopping… Just to name a few!

On day three, we will arrive bright an early at our first destination, Katakolon, Greece. This tiny seaside town is where we will begin our excursion to Olympia, which is a 40-minute drive from the shores of Katakolon. We will explore the ancient ruins of the ancient Olympia where the Olympic games first began. Some of these ruins include the Temple of Zeus, where construction began around 470 BC – nearly 2500 years ago. They sure didn’t have cruise ships back then! After a day of exploring the historic area, we begin our journey back to the Rhapsody of the Seas where we make our overnight cruise to Santorini.

The following day we arrive in beautiful Santorini. This island is most known for its white washed buildings accentuated with blue roofs and doors, atop a large cliff overlooking the ocean. Oia is a nice part of Santorini where luxury villas, hotels, restaurants and boutiques abound. Even from walking along the main street there are some absolutely stunning views over the sea towards the caldera. Boutiques and gift shops are everywhere and many wonderful souvenirs can be found.

Day five will be another day of cruising to enjoy the many activities on the ship as we make our way to Kotor, Montenegro. Here we will explore this medieval city where we will do our best not to get lost... The chaotic street plan of the Old Town was constructed on purpose to confuse any intruders. Guess we will have to make sure they know we are not there to fight! We will explore the city to see the moat-surrounded Kampana Tower, stop by the historic St. Nicholas Church and Clock Tower. And if you’re a cat lover, we can stop at the Cats of Kotor Souvenirs and Handicraft Store, where you can find unique gifts featuring, you guessed it, cats!!

Our final stop, and last day of cruising, will take us to Split, Croatia. Known for its beaches, beautiful water, and coastal mountains. We will enjoy a day at Dubrovnik Old Town which is known as one of the world’s finest and most perfectly preserved medieval cities in the world. We will be visiting the churches, palaces and museums and enjoy markets, bazaars, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Our final day we will cruise back to Venice where we begin our journey home.

A passport is REQUIRED for this trip.
