Reel in the Big One on this Northern Fishing Trip!

Do you like catching fish? Are you interested in catching some big Walleye? On this trip, we will travel to Mille Lacs Lake in northern Minnesota. Mille Lacs is known for some of the best walleye fisheries in the Country. You may just be lucky enough to catch one yourself! Lake Mille is Minnesota's second largest lake, with 76 miles of shoreline. The average depth is around 20 feet, but some spots can get up to 40 feet. Life jackets are required to be worn at all times while on the water. The boat will provide all fishing bait, nets, rods and reels.

The 40-foot launch offers a grill, bathroom and plenty of room to walk around on. Sounds like luxury fishing to us! Professional fishing guides will show us where we may have the best chances of catching the Walleye and what type of bait to use since they are local to Mille Lacs and are on the lake almost every day, even in the winter when it can get well below freezing. Our guides will also assist us with everything necessary such as getting ready, handling the rods & reels, determining where to cast, how to cast, helping us reel the monster fish in and getting it off the hook if necessary. We will focus on fishing for Walleye and Jumbo Perch but may catch a few Northern Pike, Crappie and Bass while enjoying the wonderful sights, sounds and smells of the Northwoods.
