Join Special Journeys as we explore Canada and New England to enjoy the splendor of fall foliage. This spectacular sight is one you'll truly cherish. Fire red, bright orange, and vibrant yellow trees cover the beautiful rolling mountains in the crisp fall air.

We begin this trip by meeting our cruise boat, the Adventure of the Seas, at Cape Liberty in New Jersey in the afternoon. The first evening and the first full day of the cruise we will spend aboard our ship Adventure of the Seas as we make our way to the first destination. The ship offers plenty of activities to enjoy such as bingo, dance lessons, karaoke, and shopping. We will also watch one of the Broadway style shows with amazing vocalists and dancers. To end each night aboard the cruise we will enjoy a three course sit down dinner in the main dining room.

In the morning, we arrive in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. As we tender in the port, you'll soon see why this was the wealthy summer playground during the Gilded Age. It is easy to hide away in this serene area. Bar Harbor is nestled on Mount Desert Island, which welcomes visitors with its rugged rocky shores, quaint shops, and delicious restaurants. Many famous people still vacation here, such as Stephen King and Susan Sarandon, so keep your eye out, you never know who you may run into here especially this time of year!

Our next location brings us to historic Portland, Maine. We hope you get ready for a taste of sea with a famous Maine Lobster Roll! The waters of Maine produce some of the most succulent lobster in the world. As we stroll along Old Port, which boarders the waterfront, where we'll find plenty of vendors serving lobster rolls, so save room to see which you think is the best. Old Port offers historic cobblestone roads, plenty of shopping, and beautiful views of the harbor. We'll also make a stop at the Portland Head Light, which is the oldest lighthouse still in continuous use in the United States. Here you'll have sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Portland, and a serene park to sit and watch boats travel by on the sea.

Our day in Portland ends by boarding the ship as we cruise overnight to Canada (eh!). Our first stop will bring us to Saint John, New Brunswick. Also known as 'Saint Awesome', you'll find beautiful architecture, hundreds of years of history, and charming streets, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Saint John is home to the world's highest tides, is Canada's oldest incorporated city, and known for its natural wonder of the Reserving Rapids, where the Bay collides with the St. John River.

The Canadian tour doesn't stop there! The next day we will port in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the day. This beautiful town overlooks rugged coastline, cobblestone streets and long boardwalks to enjoy the fall weather. We will take time to explore the hilltop Citadel, a star-shaped fort completed in 1850, where we will also take in the wonderful views of the ocean that surrounds the city. We'll also make time to see the Fairview Lawn Cemetery which is the final resting place for many of the victims of the Titanic.

The next day we will spend aboard the Adventure of the Seas cruising further up the coast. We will relax and enjoy the crisp fall air and colors of the fall leaves along the coast.

Our final destination on this Fall Foliage Cruise brings us to Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island. This charming city offers rolling hills, farms, stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, plenty of Victorian-era architecture and plenty of sandy beaches to explore. It's no wonder that the town inspired the book, Anne of Green Gables.

Our final day of cruising we will rest, relax, and play on the Adventure of the Seas as we make our way to Quebec City where we end this wonderful trip. But not before a day and our last evening in this amazing city. With winding cobblestone streets, towering cathedrals, and French being the spoken language (don't worry most Quebec City residents speak English too!), you'll think you're in Europe. It's a perfect place to end this cruise!

A passport is REQUIRED for this trip.
