Join us as we spend time in the beautiful mile-high city of Denver, Colorado. This beautiful city offers natural beauty with plenty of activities to enjoy. We will begin our trip by visiting Boulder, Colorado a city at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Here we will stroll along Pearl Street which includes art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and boutiques for plenty of shopping. And of course, a visit to Boulder wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Celestial Seasonings Tea headquarters! We will take a 45-minute tour to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the tea is made, where the ingredients come from, and how it's packaged. One of the highlights of this tour is the peppermint room which if full of boxes of one of Celestial Seasonings signature teas. Your nose will surely delight in this experience!
As we make our way back to Denver, get ready for a mouthwatering Mexican dinner, with a twist! We will dine at the famous Casa Bonita where we will also see daring cliff divers jump from a 30-foot waterfall, play at the amusement arcade, and watch one of their exciting stage shows where you may catch a glimpse of a crazy gorilla or see a gun show…. This is the wild west after all!
We wrap up the vacation with a wonderful tour of Denver's Botanical Gardens. What better way to enjoy the fresh mountain air than to be out among the flowers! This beautiful attraction showcases plants that thrive in Colorado's climates such as cacti and succulents. They also offer an internationally inspired garden filled with native Japanese, Chinese and South African plants, they have similar soil and climates to Colorado.
