Join us on a relaxing journey to the resort town of Atlantic City in New Jersey. Here you'll see why it's nicknamed, Monopoly City. It's because the City inspired the board game, Monopoly, especially the street names. This entertainment capital of the Jersey Shore has everything you could possibly want within walking distance, including five-star restaurants, attractions, shows, casinos, and of course, the beach!
We'll begin our trip with a stroll along the Boardwalk. This four-mile-long iconic boardwalk runs along the shoreline with vast views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is lined with plenty of shops for us to explore and you're guaranteed to find the perfect souvenir or tasty treat like saltwater taffy or fudge, to bring home! There will be lots of action to watch on the ocean as well. The waves make it a popular surfing destination, as well as kayaking and windsurfing. And in the distance, you'll be able to see New Jersey's tallest lighthouse, the Absecon Lighthouse, which is also one of the oldest in the Country.
Of course, a trip to Atlantic City wouldn't be complete without some time spent at the slots, it is the greatest draw to the city after all! You'll have to bring your poker face here, because there are plenty of professionals. There are so many options for casinos it'll be hard to pick out which ones to go to and you'll be sure to find something you enjoy playing. There is the Borgata, Caesars, Golden Nugget, the Hard Rock, and Harrahs, just to name a few. These infamous names will make you think you're in Vegas…. But with the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean! The casinos are not only known for gambling, but the entertainment and award-winning buffets which we will be sure to stop and enjoy!
