Viva Las Vegas with Special Journeys this Fall where we’ll enjoy gambling, more gambling, rides, cars, and museums on this exciting trip!

If you’re looking to win the big one, then this will be your chance in exciting Las Vegas, Nevada. On this trip we will explore several hotel casinos, each with their own personal charm and style. You’ll feel more like you’re in Paris or New York rather than in the middle of the desert in some of the hotels, it’s truly amazing the amount of detail they put into the casinos! If you’d like to try your hand at Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, or slots, Vegas has it all.

While typically you don’t think of the Eiffel Tower when you think of Vegas, this city is so unique it has many differently themed hotels for us to explore, including the Paris Hotel.  This model is half the scale of the real one but will give us a spectacular view of the strip below.  From 46 stories above the city, we’ll see the glittering lights of the strip and an unforgettable view of the Bellagio fountains just across the road. You’ll probably get a great view of our next adventure which will also take us to new heights.

At a height of 1,149 feet, the STRAT Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States and will provide us with the best 360-degree panoramic view over Las Vegas.  We’ll be able to see all of the city and beyond from either the open-air deck, or indoors if heights make you a bit nervous, from this iconic building.  Once we’ve made our trek up more than 100 flights in the high-speed elevator, we can scan the city through the viewfinders or take a walk around the tower.

After taking a break from the heights of the city to enjoy some more gambling, we’ll then head on over to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.  Here we will be sent on a unique journey through the museum where we can get up close and personal with A-list celebrities, sporting legends, politicians, and famous musicians.

The next adventure of our Vegas trip brings us to the Hollywood Cars Museum.  At this 30,000 square foot facility we will get the opportunity to see legendary cars from iconic movies such as “Back to the Future”, “Batman”, “Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang” and more. The Museum houses vehicles from over 100 films, TC shows and videos.  If you’ve wanted to see what the “Fast and Furious” cars look like firsthand, or the “Knight Rider”, which is one of two in the whole world, and General Lee from “Dukes of Hazzard”, then you’re going to love exploring this place.

Our next activity is a traveler favorite, Flyover.  This amazing ride will immerse us in a journey where we will discover our planet’s most spectacular places from a whole new perspective.  We’ll step into a movie theater with a 52-foot size spherical screen that surrounds us.  When the show starts, we’ll be in our seats that swoop, dip and turn that will give us the feeling that we’re flying over some of the planet’s most stunning landscapes.  Along the way there will be unique scents and the feeling of wind and mist to fully immerse us in the journey.

Our final activity will bring us to exciting Fremont Street.  Located in downtown Las Vegas, this pedestrian mall spreads over 5 blocks.  We’ll enjoy gambling and a delicious meal at one of the many casinos.  And don’t forget to look up at the 130,000 square foot LED canopy that spans overhead while zipliners wiz by underneath.
