Get ready for a magical Disney cruise getaway on the crystal blue waters of the Bahamas with Mickey and the gang! If you’re looking for some excellent entertainment, exciting excursions, delicious food, and exploring the soft sands of tropical islands, then get ready for this amazing adventure.

We’ll begin our cruise by departing from the port on the sunny shores of Florida. Once we’ve settled into our rooms, we’ll head out to explore all the amenities the ship has to offer. These cruise ships are something extraordinary, they’re much like floating cities, compete with pools, waterslides, tons of stores for shopping, multiple stages to watch Broadway-quality shows, and many restaurant options.

Once we arrive at our tropical destination, we’ll depart the ship to explore all that the islands have to offer. From local shops that offer handmade treasure, historic sightseeing, and spectacular white-sand beaches, the destination has it all.

As we head to our next destination, we’ll enjoy more of the cruise’s amenities. If you’re someone who likes a bit of a thrill, step onto the high-speed waterslide that launches you on a three story drop into a splash pool. Or hop aboard the water coaster that transports you over the side of the ship. If you’re just looking to relax, there’s plenty of space for you to grab a chair and lounge by the Quiet Cove pool for a more serene swimming environment.

There are many different types of shows and entertainment to keep us busy during the cruising portions of our trip as well. From the extravagant live stage shows, exciting live music, and classic Disney movies to watch out on the ship’s deck. Depending on which ship we’ll board, we may even be able to see a firework show!

In between all the entertainment, swimming and dining, we will have time to shop for unique Disney themed souvenirs. The ship has many different stores for us to explore such as Inside Out: Joyful Sweets where you can find delicious treats such as cookies, truffles, and gelato. At Mickey’s Mainsail, you’ll find all of your Disney Cruise themed items, costumes and merchandise. Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten to pack your swimsuit and sunscreen, then we’ll head into Dori’s Forget Me Knot where we’ll find everything we need for a day at the beach or pool.

And of course, since this is a Disney cruise, be on the lookout for many of the Disney Characters walking around the ship, from Donald, Minnie, and yes, of course Mickey, they’ll be walking around ready to say ‘hello’ and take a picture with you.

Our next destination on this tropical cruise takes us to Disney’s own Castaway Cay! This island is private for only Disney cruise guests. We will have our own private island for the day. We’ll enjoy the many activities our island has to offer, from a BBQ lunch, beach games, swimming and surprise sightings of Disney Characters too!
