Calling all ladies, calling all ladies! Winter weather giving you cabin fever? Travel with us and enjoy a mid-winter trip that is sure to make you feel pampered and relaxed! We'll stay at a top notch Kansas City hotel and enjoy a full hot breakfast each morning. Then we'll visit a spa where we will experience a massage, manicure, pedicure and other specialty treatments with relaxing spa getaways on each day of the trip.

One night we will get dressed up and then dine at a Japanese Steakhouse where the food is prepared right in front of you. The food is excellent and the show is an incredible experience! Cheer on the chef as you see the famous onion volcano with salt sparkles, shrimp toss, egg roll and many other exciting and unique things such as salt flips, pepper twists!

Our hotel has both a pool and a warm, relaxing hot tub and there will be time to sit and enjoy both! Of course this trip also has to include time for shopping, right? We will enjoy a unique department store as well as some of the Midwest's most exciting venues including the infamous Crown Center and Legends Mall.

At the Crown Center we will have a guided tour of the Hallmark Visitor Center. We will learn about card making and see original paintings by Norman Rockwell, Winston Churchill, Grandma Moses, and Saul Steinberg. We will also watch a technician hand-make engraving dies-the metal plates that raise the three-dimensional designs on paper, which work like steel cookie cutters to make unusually shaped cards! We will also see an actual press in operation and watch cards actually being made. You can also operate bow making machine and watch as it turns ribbon into a miniature star bow that you can take home with you! In another area of the center you can see costumes, props, and a real Emmy award from Hallmark TV shows on display.

Last and certainly not least we will have a wonderful tea time luncheon and party at the Governor's Meeting House! The House was voted Kansas City's number one tea room. Your trip will include a photo keepsake of you taken after your spa experience.
