Your exciting adventure begins in Ogallala, Nebraska. We will enjoy diner at Ole’s Lodge where you will dine among a Polar Bear, Giraffe, antelope and tons of other taxidermy. The next day we will head into Denver enjoying lunch at the Hard Rock Café. Next we will visit the award winning Denver Aquarium. The aquarium features a 150,000 gallon reef tank and boasts 1.25 million gallons of saltwater and freshwater habitats from around the world.
After lunch we will head up to Canon City where we will stay for the next few days enjoying the sights. Our time will include a gold mine tour where we will see the equipment and operations related to producing gold. We will also visit the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park in Colorado which features the highest suspension bridge in the country and a cog railroad to the bottom of the gorge. We will take a two hour train ride on the Royal Gorge railway through 24 miles of unforgettable scenery. Shopping and other small stops will complete our journey through this beautiful area. While we are driving around we will have a chance to stop to enjoy the majestic views and see wildlife.
