Cheyenne Frontier Days

Wyoming
July 2011 (5 or 6 Days)
Walking Level: Moderate
Wheelchair Accessible Trip

Nicknamed the “Big Daddy of them all”, this promises to be a trip you won’t forget. We will see barrel racing, saddle bronco riding, team roping and other activities. After the rodeo we will cool off in downtown Cheyenne with some old west shopping and dinner at the Plains Hotel, sure to please everyone! Later that night, we will experience a professional bull riding event where you can cheer your favorite rider to victory!

See the USAF Thunderbirds and the Strategic Air Show offering spectacular aerial views and stunts sure to dazzle. We will visit the Frontier Days Museum and the Indian Village and then head on over to the Bucking Saloon for some Western hospitality and a dance or two! Enjoy a parade through downtown Cheyenne and afterwards head on out to Terry’s Bison Ranch where we will board a bus and drive into the bison pastures. Here we will have the opportunity to pet a real live (tame) bison!! Then we explore the petting zoo, have some western fun and enjoy lunch at their on-site restaurant (eating bison of course!).
